Erectile Dysfunction Treatment Denver CO Elderly Couple

The Priapus Shot® (P-Shot®) helps men struggling with erectile dysfunction achieve firmer, stronger and larger erections. This revolutionary treatment uses platelet rich plasma (PRP) from the patient’s own body to rejuvenate damaged and aged tissue. The P-Shot is a procedure designed especially for those who have restricted blood flow due to surgery side effects, diabetes, an enlarged prostate, and prostate cancer. Because the platelet rich plasma comes from your own body, it is more effective and more natural than other erectile dysfunction treatments.

The P-Shot® can increase the length and width of the penis, increase firmness, and duration of erections.

RPM – Revived Performance for Men is one of the few men’s only health and wellness centers offering patients this innovative new treatment that aims to improve sexual function and satisfaction for patients and their partners.

What can the P-Shot® do for you?

  • Increased sexual performance
  • Male enhancement
  • Improved sex life
  • Stronger and straighter penis
  • Increased circulation
  • No allergic reactions (due to the use of your own body’s fluids)
  • Little to no discomfort

What is the P-Shot?

The P–Shot procedure was created by Dr. Charles Runels to help men who suffer from erectile dysfunction. The procedure uses platelet rich plasma from the patient’s own blood and this is injected into specific areas of the penis using a painless method.

Are there any side effects or down time?

The P-Shot® is a simple in-office procedure and takes approximately 30 minutes. In addition, there are no known side effects since the P-Shot® is made from your own blood. Typically there is no downtime, but the numbing cream may have a 4-6 hour effect, in which you may notice a lack of sensitivity if you attempt to perform sexual activity. Patients can return to work, exercise and any other activity the same day (including sexual activity).

Where is the Injection put?

Directly into the corpus cavernosum with a small needle, and into the head of the penis–in a way almost exactly as done with those who use injections for erectile dysfunction.

What about scar tissue?

For example, men who inject 3 to 5 times a week over many years for treatment for erectile dysfunction, there is about a 10% incidence of scar tissue formation. This is with multiple injections for years. With the p-shot there is very minimal to no scar tissue effects. The p-shot actually helps reduce scar tissue present in the penis so the chances of obtaining scar tissue from this procedure are very slim.

Does it Hurt?

Prior to the P-Shot procedure, we apply a local anesthetic either via injection or topically with a cream. We can accommodate this to the patients preference. However, we do recommend the local anesthetic via injection as this acts as a nerve blocker which completely numbs the penis.

Will I need a 2nd shot?

Some men choose to have a 2nd p-shot for various reasons. You may have a 2nd p-shot after 4 weeks should you desire.

Does it stop or reverse Peyronie's Disease

Yes, in most men. In some men it will even help permanently reverse the underlying issue. Two dermatopothologists–indicated that somehow the procedure down-regulates autoimmune response. This study was held using lichen sclerosus (also thought to be an autoimmune process, like Peyronie’s).

Is there anything I need to do after?

To assure the most desired outcome, you should follow through with the 6 week post-treatment process provided to you by your medical professional upon completion of your procedure. This 6-week process does not require anymore than 20 minutes of your time daily.

Is a follow-up procedure required?

Although we do not require a follow-up visit after your treatment, we do recommend coming in 7-10 days after your procedure so our provider can do a visual and physical screening to ensure no adverse effects occurred.
